You guys are ridiculous. The bears offense had the ball how many times last night and had 9 points when we had the ball last? We had 4 turnovers and damn near 2-3 more picks.

Why was he calling conservative plays? Did you watch that game?

Ultimately, what KOC has done is truly incredible.

2022: turned basically the same roster from 8-9 to 13-4 with a bottom 3 defensive coordinator

2023: Let me ask you - if before the season started, and I told you Kirk tore his Achilles and JJ went down, how many games would you think we won? We started off 1-4 with one of the hardest schedules in football, lost our QB who was playing at an MVP level, lost the 2022 OPOY who had the most (or 2nd?) yards on the NFL. AND WE WENT ON A 5 GAME WIN STREAK. We are still in a playoff spot and people are calling for his head?!

Anybody calling for KOC to be fired is a complete moron.

BUT he has major issues with in-game decision making, and trying for now 2 weeks straight to make Dobbs a pocket passer is a major blunder.

3 weeks. He did the same thing in the saints game.

On the other hand, maybe he’s right not to trust Dobbs in these situations

Defenses have figured out “keep dobbs in the pocket and make him beat you in the air”. KOC needs to make adjustments to counter those defenses.

Teams aren’t allowing Dobbs to roll. That’s not on KOC. Teams know that if you force Dobbs to pass, he’ll struggle. Dobbs is a QB, he should be able to pass

We can’t afford to have him running around only to get hurt though. This can not be ignored.

KOC should absolutely not be fired. I think he’s a great play caller, but a bad game manager, and the nice thing about that is with time you can fix the game management part of a coach. I remember before Andy Reid got his first ring he had a lot of shit for his game management and I haven’t heard anything about it since. When KOC starts to call the right plays at the right time, it’s all going to gel together

Nobody has a problem with the fact that we are losing, the issue is that we are losing in ways we shouldn’t be.

You’ll find out a lot about KOC when he announces who starts the next game. If he goes with Dobbs, then it’s over for KOC. He will have shown he has no balls and is afraid to hurt players feelings and just wants to be their friend. Dobbs is a nice guy so golly gee I don’t wanna bench him. A real coach would never let Dobbs see the field again after those last 2 catastrophic performances. Eventually he will lose the locker room.

Plus you have a much better head coach standing 10 feet away in Flores who will probably walk after the season.

The loss is on KOC, but that’s definitely been the exception to his tenure. Have confidence that he’ll be able to move on and improve

Did you watch the TD drive to take the lead in the Bears game? Going run, run, halfhearted screen off an opponent TO with a chance to run the clock out is cowardice. And he keeps doing it. That kinda stuff won’t fly in the playoffs. Get ready for more heartbreak.

I like KOC and think he’s done a good job for the most part but with the game on the line, you have to take risks. If dobbs throws another pick, then at least he tried. It’s better than run run screen pass punt.

KOC shouldn’t be fired, but even in last year’s game, his coaching is SUPER conservative.

If Dobbs makes that throw and Addison catches it when there were only a couple of minutes left, the Vikings win is sealed. That’s on the players, not the coach.
