15 of which were by Stew. Cade himself had made 16 threes within that same time span. That is abysmal imo.
This is why this team is loosing. Isaiah Stewart is your second best shooter. In the year 2023, when everyone on the court can spread the floor, the pistons have two guys who can hit a three. This is of course from my outside observation.
I’m not a pistons homer, but think you guys have some great young pieces. Obviously you guys are more passionate about loosing, can’t knock y’all for that. But from an outside perspective, Cade, Ivey, Thompson, Duren are great young pieces. Let them develop as a unit.
I’d be more concerned with the highest paid coach of all time.
Ivey doesn’t do enough spot up shooting. Sure I’ll give Stew credit, but we’re trying to make him a strictly 3 point shooter which makes no damn sense. It’s obviously not his main strength but we keep having him shoot!
Last night showed that with Ivey starting next to Cade he can hit a couple 3’s and even put pressure on the other teams’ defense so Cade can get easy catch and shoot 3’s
Someone (or multiple someones) need to get traded so they can get better roster fit going. I like pretty much all of the young guys on their own, but they don’t fit together.
We need Bojan and Monte back.
Stew shouldn’t be taking that many three.
Four of them come from Jaden Ivey. This goes to show you how much of a moron Monty Williams is for starting Killian at all, let alone as many games as he did. I think things will get better with JI in the starting lineup and the return of Bogey, with Stew hopefully going to the bench.
