Yes, it’s his 2nd full season as head coach, and so far he is 12-16 over the last year and half.

I know it’s an unpopular topic and one that many diehard Saints fans will argue about, but we barely escaped Carolina with a win, got our ass handed to us in the Dome by the Bucs, then lost to the Falcons in the ATL. We have the Lions coming to town this weekend playing some of the best ball they have in years, and then have the Panthers at home and Giants at home.

I’m under the opinion that if we lose 3 out of the next 6 games, we might be looking elsewhere for a head coach.

What do y’all think?

I feel he needs to win 4 of 6 to have a chance at keeping his job. He doesn’t deserve to keep his job. He has filtered out excuses for mediocre play, week after week, for 2 years now and despite spending a pile of cash to give him the QB and other players he wanted the team is not producing wins. It is clear he is not a coach that knows how to win consistently (the record vs the weakest schedule in the NFL says it all), is willing to make the tough management calls (like Carmichael), or inspires confidence in the players (listen to what Kamara is trying to say).

When you are in a game and things are going sideways, the players look to the coach for what to do. DA doesn’t seem to have any answers for them. “Keep doing what your doing.”
