I thought Genesis got constantly high marks? How are they that low?

r/whatcarshouldibuy is gonna be in shambles seeing Mazda below Subaru, because according to them Subarus all burn oil and head gaskets, and Mazdas are bulletproof.
Imagine telling someone in the mid 2000’s that Subaru was consistently on Hondas tail in terms of reliability in the 2020’s.
Mini at 3 and BMW at 9 both seem absurd. I don’t know anyone who’s managed to keep one of those running for longer than like 8 years.
Looks pretty correct based on my anecdotal experience.

Now that growth has slowed, I’ve seen a lot fewer posts about issues at delivery.
Previously, cars would be delivered to the store and delivered within 48 hours. Now their teams have longer to address las minute issues, which made up a large % of quality concerns.
And it’s still middle of the pack overall
