Was just randomly digging around stats. Wasn’t surprised to see Montgomery so high in the league but I didn’t expect to see Jahmyr up there with the common narratives surrounding how people perceive him.
I enjoy watching him when he gets in open space. Always seems to burn atleast 10 yards before going down if he can get a decent lane
Still blows my mind people want to label him as a bust
For a team with our history, a lot of people in this sub have insane standards.
Between the “you guys need to get your minds right and quit taking the next game lightly” (lol) and the “player x is a bust” posts - it gets old fast.
So many people here would’ve traded Goff before he took a snap in Detroit, then they slobbered all over his knob for a year - and now after last week, “he isn’t the guy” anymore. Loyalties are day to day and hard to come by here, for some reason.
It’s always comparative value. If we took him in the 2nd round, people would be cheering for stats like this. But we reached for him, and he has not been putting up big numbers. Got one TD and only one decent rushing game under his belt, against an opponent that took the foot off the pedal. He’s neither a bust nor the star we reached for. He is developing. Let’s hope he hasn’t reached his ceiling yet and that he keeps improving, cause damn do we ever need him.
Due to fantasy football, no player will ever be given time to develop without being called a bust.
Jahmyr Gibbs is inevitable. Whether we like it or not.
Who scores a 50 plus first him or Jamo ?
Swift having himself an impressive start as well. I’m still happy with “New Swift”, but always stings a little when guys leave our team and have career years
Also one of the fastest ball carriers last week and he didn’t even get going :)
Come on, man! I saw “Jahmyr Gibbs has broken…” and immediately my mind thought “ribs” or some other injury! My heart raced for a second.
