  • Imo there is a couple reasons swift is probably doing better in Philly. There O-line is better then ours by a decent amount imo and run scheme is more friendly of the kind of back swift is. His big runs atleast from the games Ive seen this year he mainly only needs to make one cut, which is big props to that O-line, it’s also a more stable organization and I doubt there asking him to do as much as we were so it’s less pressure on him so he isn’t trying to do too much. He is also from philly and probably grew up an eagles fan. Last point is he needs to get paid and is probably more willing to play through injuries but he also isn’t getting injured because they probably aren’t pushing as hard in practice due to being an established team vs a team that’s trying to flip there culture

  • Johnson is one of the top candidates this offseason. Hell he was up there last year and his stock has only gone up imo. The panthers almost had him last year I definitely could see them giving him a shot. Especially since he is getting a lot of credit for Goff playing his best football. Another guy who is kind of being overlooked is Bieneimy not sure why. KC hasn’t looked as good offensively this year after loosing him and Sam Howell has been doing decent with peanuts around him. And you know he is mostly running that offense.

  • Our team isn’t good enough to win a ring with Goff currently imo. If he is on he won’t lose you the game and can win some we should lose. With that said I think his ceiling is like a prime Matt Hasselbeck. Not very mobile or fast but can have great games when protected and has an accurate arm most of the time(60%ish comp, Goff does have slightly better stats but you could also figure that’s the way the game is now)The issue with that is eventually it puts a cap on how good the offense can be unless he gets more talent on the skill positions and on the O-line. We are very flashy and a top 3 offense but our defense is maybe top 15 but lately has been playing a lot worse. That really becomes a noticeable issue when we face guys who are also solid with there arm but more mobile. It also doesn’t help that defense has had issues with mobile schemes and Qbs very regularly for the past what 3 years. I’m fine with us resigning Goff and he might currently be our best option. I just hope we don’t cripple the team and risk losing guys like Sewell or St.Brown due to Goff wanting top 3-5 Qb money. He has flashes and highs of that level, but his lows are low low low. I’m honestly curious how we stack up to some of those teams that got close but never made it position to position. Teams like the 04 panthers 06 Seahawks. I might have to look into team comps now lol.
