Sengun? Barnes?
Not sure honestly
All I know is if we picked mobley. Them Killian and mobley pnr would be unstoppable /s
Really? Killian and Mobley? Maybe if killian could finish a layup. He never drives or makes layups or draws fouls. Not at all.
Kinda a shit draft in hindsight in terms of top tier talent aint it.
Could’ve easily had Hali in 2020 and Mobley in 2021. Team would’ve been set for a decade
that draft was horrid, the 16th pick is looking like the best player out of that draft
Which is ironic, because it was looked upon at the time as a really good draft.
That’s why I don’t pay too much attention to the pre-draft assertions of “good” or “bad” drafts. Nobody knows for sure.
We should have traded pick for SGA. OKC was dying to get rid of him at the time
This is just extreme hindsight. You would never trade a 1st pick when you’re franchise has sucked ass for the last 10 years for someone who was a fringe star at the time
People saying it’s a trash draft class, am I missing something? Could’ve had Barnes, Mobley or Franz
- From what I can see none of these guys have generational or all nba upside at the moment. All have had bad stretches like Barnes all of last year, Franz stagnated and still has a lower 3 Point percentage than cade who everyone is bashing, and Mobley is the same offensively lacking bum for years
Which is why I say: give it more time. Look at the 2018 draft that class took years to figure out which was good and not, not 20 games into their 3rd seasons. Mikal has broken out, Shai wasn’t from a guy with all star upside to a fucking top mvp candidate. Ayton turns out to be mediocre asf and not an all star. In a couple more years we will see who is the better players in this draft class, but one thing you can do is guess at upside
