But no losing seasons ! Tomlin took over Cowher’s team, won a SB, and ruined it.

How do you continue to support him? All he cares about is 9-8. He’s won a SB and he knows he’ll be in the HOF because of his winning record. How he gets voted as a top coach every year blows my mind. Because he’s likeable with the players? How has that went? Locker room does what they want because he doesn’t care. As long as we win 9 games then everything else is a bonus. Make the playoffs? Awesome. We lose but now I went 9-8 AND made the playoffs.
Here comes the comments “why does this sub overreact after a loss” by the people that defend Tomlin for reasons I don’t know why but am very interested in knowing.

Maybe because it’s same posts over and over again with the same words and no coherent arguments or solutions. Just spitting out the same “9-8 seasons is all he care about” etc.
He has flaws yes, but this loss is because of bad executuion for example Cole’s snaping issues which has been a problem all season but became really apparent today. Also losing your starting QB and being down to your 4th and 5th string ILBs and losing your green dot on defense fucking up the communication and cohesion on defense. You can sustain injuries but not 3 on the same position. We held them to 50 yards of offense until Roberts went down. We had a good gameplan until then.
Flaws with his history to lose to bad opponents absolutely valid critisism, but you need to have the context and not just write a lot of buzzwords.
Depends on how well you back up your point. If your ammo is “no playoffs wins in forever” or “he’s too much of a friend to this players”. Then yeah you’ll be downvoted and shamed.
I think the relitigating stuff that happens a decade ago is what gets you downvoted.
Saying stuff like “he ruined the team” when talking about post-Cower (nearly 2 decades ago now) is unfair and odd AF.
If you want to talk about his performance this year, I’m listening. But to say Tomlin is some sort of failure in total will get a quick downvote from me.

If you criticize Tomlin, then you are a racist. Period.
The real problem is the fans that keep spending billions of dollars for this team to keep sucking. If fans would stop spending all this money on jerseys and RedZone tickets and shit like that, they will get the message very fast.
I do have a few issues with him TBH. Mostly with poor clock management, bad challenges, and bad coaching hires. A pet peeve is taking too long to make player personnel changes, when it’s clear that a certain situation isn’t working.
Dude Tomlin could come out tomorrow admit he’s an outdated dinosaur whose act has gone stale years ago, clueless about modern NFL offense and also keeps a child chained up in his basement and the media wouldn’t criticize him and his fanboy ballwashers here would say he was bravely falling on the sword to cover for whoever was really at fault🤣 you get an upvote from me.
Your pretty spot on. I think we would be better if we brought in some real assistant coaches. This whole promoting within hasn’t worked and isn’t working.
