This is the worst possible lane to pull in. As soon as you leave PA is dead, so DON’T leave. Also, axe will naturally keep the lane pushed all the time anyway. What you need to do is to FIGHT them. I’ve lost so many lanes where the supports just sits there with full mana and walks back and forth. Use spells, auto attacks, bring extra regen as u can probably know what the lane is going to be even before you get there. YOU need to force Veno to cast his shit on you while you are the safe distance from Axe, then you run back, regen and repeat. YOU must force their attention on you otherwise you will not only lose the lane but also the game.

Your lane was a losing one from the draft, but you can play it passively or actually leave the lane fully and rotate mid/top, you will get flamed but is the correct play to put pressure where you can.

Veno will be forced to rotate, if pa is not dumb he will be able to farm vs axe under the tower.

You can also win it, but it depends on pa. If he goes early items and doesnt rush fury like mindless safe laner usually do.

Pick Warlock to keep draining them of health, have mid rotate or pos4 to rotate and help out. Keep killing the Veno thingies. Witch Doctor is good against Axe as well.

- Check: Can PA swap lanes? I.e go offlane while your offlane goes safelane?

- Check: Can your pos 4 swap place with you? I.e your pos 4 supports your pos 1?

- Check: Can you bring a gank from mid to reset the lane for you?

- Check: Can you bring a 3-lane (pos 1, 4, 5) to win the lane 3v2?

- Check: Can you leave your pos 1 and try to win offlane/mid? This brings attention away from your carry if the enemy venomancer leaves as well, leaving Axe solo. Then, if Axe solo dives, your mid or someone can always TP to kill Axe and save your PA.

You have a few cards to play. Nonetheless, your situation is difficult indeed.

CM is fairly weak against these two. Maybe swap with other support or gank, or choose witch doctor. Almost nothing you can do unless Axe is complete moron. Warding is ok. Pulling will make lane worse because Axe can cut the wave or steal the pull and camp.

If you already pick cm and into a pa then bad early, the best you can do it try to stack small camps, medium camps for pa to recover.

Then, persuade your pa to be patient and farm till he had enough items to show up while you hold the creeps in lane so they won’t push so far up that your team lose ground to farm.

That’s just my experience but my carry usually cries and grief at that time.

Have the pos 4 gate to your lane and grab a few kills very early. Get as much from that since you will be farming off the lane soon. Your team will play around their strong hero depending on the draft so you would just have to itemize for farming jungle

There is a lot of details and ways to outplay enemy. But the most reliable way is not to pick cm. Pick strong laners who can’t be bullied or at least can trade kills like Treant who also scales very well into the game.

Instead of trying to put out fires (your abysmal safelane). Start making fires somewhere else. Make their mid miserable so they need to rotate. Start smoking behind the enemy safelane tower and force tps. Make pa 1v1 against axe. It’s not great but it’s better than a 2v2 lane where you’re already losing badly.

If your PA doesn’t know how to defensively aggro, you can do it for him instead. Against an Axe-Veno lane I would probably just sit behind the creeps and hit whenever I can.

depends on the situation. try to double wave, if you pull on not stacked small, so the enemy creeps die at your tower if you see that it’s gonna get hard to farm on this lane. I do this often as a carry, I just “ruin” the lane to get advantage. go to other lanes if u can kill there to force pos4 to rotate so your carry can solo lane with their pos3, you can try to all in to get him a frag, you always have some ways out

Sometimes there is just nothing you can do. Could try a lane change with other support if you have one. Or go stack jungle a bit leave them solo xp in lane But make sure you tell them. They can maybe get a few dagger last hits under tower

Calmly tell your carry that this is a dead lost lane and he will have to jungle. If he replies with, “stfu” or something similarly toxic then mute him. Ofc you should pull and try to leave the lane as late as possible. Then go gank mid or top, or make ancient stacks. Never waste your time struggling in a lost lane. Go gank other lanes instead and try to make space for your team. Moreover, losing your safe lane tower early is not the end of the world by any means, hell, its over better to let it fall cause the lane is pushed to tier 2 and the carry can safely farm it.
