I imagine that they’re fishing for compliments regarding leadership training, job placement, etc.

Well hopefully their social media PR person learned a valuable lesson- Don’t ask a question on the internet unless you’re really prepared for people to give you an answer you’re not going to like.

Nope. Most people in the military aren’t combat troops. A military the size of the one the US has requires a fuck ton of non-combat positions to function.

Eh, military has a lot of jobs outside of combat situations, so idk if “most” ex-military are negatively impacted although I imagine anyone who’s seen combat is.

I doubt most are negatively impacted overall. Though those who are, are often extremely negatively impacted (PTSD, serious permanent injury, death).

No. If you look at all the bad shit, and I’m including rapes, active duty PTSD, etc by high estimates you are taking 30%. If you take that as the worst case scenario, consider the past and education is easy to see most have an improved life.

So so so much of the military is logistics who will never see fighting.

Oh man that question backfired on them so hard

Military family. I’ve seen and experienced firsthand how hard the MIC fucks each and every member over.

It’s nice seeing new generations realize it’s bullshit

Military industrial complex. It’s the system that keeps USA running. Aka the meat grinder. Feed young men and women to the beast, harvest their blood sweat and tears, reap more tax dollars every single year, interfere with foreign nations and profit from their suffering.

Don’t forget about all those great VA benefits and after service care that Congress likes to cut until there’s PR on them.

Only 10 guys? Musta been an ugly lady. We heard stories about a Major’s wife who was hitting triple digits.

Honestly I’m surprised how surprised most folks are by military spouse infidelity

It’s an open secret they only got together for the housing benefits. At this point it’s almost expected as the dues ya pay for ditching everyone else in the barracks.
