    Is anyone scratching their head over why the Thunder agreed to the terms of the Harden trade? The Thunder could, conceivably, be giving up a FRP for literally zero compensation. Let that sink in a bit.

      It’s a calculated gamble and a sign that Presti expects OKC to be very good in the 26-27 season. And the Clippers will be very old by then, so it’s Presti using the worst pick from one year (likely in the 20s) to take a gamble on the pick he gets the next year being better. It’s a risk, but with the Thunder unable to roster all these picks anyway, it’s a risk that makes sense.
