I didn’t really like the demo at all. I already found Talos Principle 1 really boring since a puzzle game that’s just about picking up and placing objects strikes me as an incredibly uninteresting gameplay concept for a puzzle game.
Now 2 a game with boring puzzles broken up by boring dialogue segments. I guess a lot of people really loved the first one though and it makes sense that the same group that liked the puzzles would like the dialogue too.
