With all the injuries around the league, it was reported that teams were contacting the Texans to ask about trading for our third string QB Case Keenum. Why didn’t we move him? I love Case, but its weird to hear that we were outright denying any trade requests for our third stringer. Surely we could get something for someone who isn’t touching the field. What do you guys think?

He’s clearly not in playing shape anymore…… He’s the Vet in a room with two other Young Qbs who could learn from someone like him.

I don’t think that any team is willing to give us a premium pick for a locker room guy. Thankfully he hasn’t been called to play so far, but it’s also a little nice knowing we have Case on our bench.

He’s still the only QB in Texas to make it to a conference game, so there’s that.

The asking price would be a late rounder. His value was never as a player, always as a mentor to Stroud and to help him transition to the NFL and traverse the ups and downs of the league.

Decent mentor for Stroud and arguably a better backup than Mills
