Hakeem won two rings in the weakest era of basketball (90s without Jordan) and would likely be ringless if Jordan never retired.

Plus he won a ring as a 6 seed (which people see as a good thing for some reason) making his championship team one of the worst in history (again, in the weakest era of basketball).

This might be the dumbest post I’ve seen all off-season.

    Congrats 👍

    Hell no.

Giannis is allowed to do things Hakeem wasn’t and still isn’t better. Not from a post, rebounding, or footwork, or passing perspective.

The amount of legacy and comparison posts lately is crazy.

No he is not even close in any category other than rings and winning a 2nd is no guarantee.

This is the reason the phrase “There’s no such thing as a stupid question” isn’t accurate.

Put the accolades and numbers aside (which all favor Dream anyway), Hakeem dominated an era full of HoF big men: Ewing, Admiral, Shaq etc while Giannis hasn’t even separated himself from Jokic
