Players who were either a flash in the pan or suddenly disappeared from the NFL.
Kenny Golladay. I know what happened to him but he still went from being nicknamed Babytron to not playing in NFL games in one year
Jonas Gray
Peyton Hillis
Not so much that I didn’t know what happened with his career, but D’Andre Levy once he was finally cut from the Lions after he destroyed his knee.
He was clearly suffering from depression, writing to the local papers about being scared of having CTE, etc.
As soon as he was cut, he dropped out of the spotlight completely. And honestly, I think about him a lot.
Once was one of the best WILL linebackers in the league, and just gone in a terrible fashion.
I hope he’s doing ok
He destroyed his knee on a celebration lol so sad
It’s not even a good one, just one I personally experienced. The name “Mohammad Wilkerson” popped in my head while watching the Jets, and I wondered where he went off to. Turns out he’s been retired for quite some time. These seasons really go by way too quickly.
What’s Matt Flynn up to these days?
Dick Trickle
man he passed away a few years ago. Self inflicted gunshot wound at his grandkids grave site. Really sad.
dude was one of the best short track racers of all time, and one hell of a cigarette smoker.
This thread and all the replies are an advertisement by the NFL to stop paying your RBs
Victor Cruz
Marcus peters , had a lot of hype around the draft and on the chiefs. Surprised he got dealt to the rams. Haven’t heard about him at all until he had that pick 6 vs the lions a few weeks ago.
What’s Tim Tebow doing these days?
Since he just got signed: Martavis Bryant. I literally thought he died until I saw the news
Signed with the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts in 2021, and was placed on their suspended list for failing to report to training camp, and released in December 2021. Meanwhile, he also signed with an arena team, but it appears never played.
A second brief stint on a CFL roster happened in 2022. He signed with the Edmonton Elks in February, but was released in May.
Kiko Alonzo
Tom Brady was playing until like last year. Seemed like a decent QB, still fairly young, then just dropped off the map. ???
Michael Clayton had one of the best rookie WR years ever at the time and then just completely fell off.
80 catches for 1193 yards and 7 TD’s his rookie season.
His career totals were 223 catches for 2955 yards and 10 TD’s.
He fell off pretty hard.
