I don’t get it. Isn’t the Jets O-Line still mega trash? Why would he want to rush back into this?

On the one hand I fully believe the NFL is turning a blind eye to him using HGH or something similar to accelerate his recovery because the story would sell (elite HOF QB playing in biggest market overcomes odds, the books/movies write themselves)

On the other, I also think Rodgers is an attention whore who would absolutely be acting this way even if a return was completely and utterly impossible.

I think the bigger question is, even if the Jets are still in playoff contention in mid-December, would the team even want to clear him to return?

Like, if their in a spot where they need to win their last 3 games to make the playoffs, is the risk of putting him out there actually even worth it?

There are only 2 options here. Either he and NYJ lied about the severity of his injury or he’s taking a massive amount of roids to recover.

I find all this talk kind of weird… wouldn’t a 40 year old coming back from an achilles rupture in 4 months be nothing short of a medical miracle?
