but a sideways trade isn’t a bad thing, dallas has abundance of guards who can score but you can get a player who is less offensively capable but plays the 3-4 spot and focuses on defense.
your essentially trading sideways but for a different skillset, which in the end still improves the team. specially with a player like hardy and Seth sitting behind on the depth chart to replace a majority of the value that the guy you trade away gives.
