reverse the enchantment nerf.
I dont think this nerf had the actual building community in mind. they could easily have just nerfed trade prices and raid/iron farms it would have the same effect without adding nightmare building logistics to an essential item. think 1 emerald trade for 16 iron block, and 16 emerald block for a tool or book.
not to mention that nobody is talking about how a biome based nerf breaks any non standard biome world where players *cant* easily get to these biomes. good luck playing large biomes/amplified/superflat/skyblock. I personally will just be giving myself mending books if they dont reverse the change because theyre non negotiable for the kind of building im doing. my last build project burned through 8 netherite picks on a three week long dig. if i didnt have max tools, it would have been a 6 week long dig for a build thats half as large. If youre digging in deepslate? well just dont at that point.
but hey, im sure itll be great for the hyper casual players who only play their worlds for 3 weeks and complained that th enchanted tools they found in a dungeon didnt feel like rare enough prizes
For 1.21, they should seriously reconsider adding Tuff and Copper Golems due to fitting theme and would fit Trial Chambers as passive mobs.
Copper golems would go perfect in my dwarven city. I was very disappointed when they lost the vote.
Hostile mobs need to be fantasy creatures.
Dumbest rule ever. I swear mojang seems like an overly sensitive company sometimes. I know why they choose that but it’s still a weak reason and treats people like they’re too stupid to exist.
Hold on, they said they aren’t gonna added items from mods anymore, when was that implemented as I distribution remember seeing several mods with an auto crafter in, honestly I feel modding should be recovered as it can show how it would work in the game, plus they can just steal the code
Idk if it’s on that list, but vertical slabs.
ALL OF THEM
A redwood forest. Holy crap that would be amazing. And add the particle effect like with the cherry blossom biome. Similar to the spruce forest sure, but you can make the ground and block textures different, depending on how they make the surroundings it wouldn’t be that similar at all
I want to smack whoever said the redwood forest is too similar to the mega taiga. Redwood trees would be twice as tall at least. Put them in already! I would also really like muskets because you can collect gunpowder to put in a pouch to load it. That would be so cool.
“mojang want the poisonous potato to remain useless” how stupid is that? They want to have a useless item? I actually have no words
This might be unpopular opinion, but Mojang are foolish for not listening to its playerbase more. Most of those ideas are a bit far fetched and I can understand the reasoning, but if 60, 70, 80% of the playerbase want a feature, what do they gain by not adding it?
We could be dining their praises every update but instead they behold us to biased votes and drop feeding us long requested features that have existed in mods for years
All of them.
Vertical Slabs. They say it would hinder creativity but that’s a bold-face lie.
This list is a disaster. No wonder every update has been small for years, they’ve taken tons of practical things off the table. Why are they against vertical slabs? The reason provided simply isn’t good enough.
I’ll concede that many are reasonable, such as changing how redstone works. That’s a ridiculous suggestion in the first place. But they said they’ll be adding NO features from ANY MOD. There’s literally thousands (if not more) mods out there. Yes, many are unreasonable, but really? They’ve gone through the entire list and decided nothing there was worth implementing? I don’t believe that for a second. For example, connected glass. Why does that have to be a mod? That would be an awesome improvement on the looks of any build with glass. You just wouldn’t be able to count with it anymore. Which isn’t an issue, because wool farm.
