Been going through a lot and I can’t play story games and I’m looking for a dumb game that you can just turn on and forget everything around you. Probably arcade but I don’t really know.
By dumb I don’t mean bad one I just mean that you don’t need lots of thinking/following a plot you just do the things and try to do them better/advance
crab champion
Vampire Survivors. It’s pretty chill if you don’t care about getting the best score possible every time
Just cause 3 or 4. Both are great fun and you play it Just Cuz…
Ghostrunner
Call of Duty
I recommend Unreal Tournament 2k4, specifically the Assault maps with the AI. They give you a rundown of how you need to attack and progress within the time limit, then you get the chance to be the defenders and stop the AI from beating your time. It’s just a fun old FPS with cool futuristic guns.
Another is Killing Floor 2, it’s a survival FPS fighting “not Zombies” called Zeds. Pick a class, kill enemies, earn money, buy better guns, level up, survive a set amount of waves, kill the boss, then pick a new map and do it again. You can unlock cosmetics and as you level up you can try harder difficulties. I got it on my PS4 and have been enjoying it for over 6 years.
Good question grab like a dragon 1 if you can the plot is really easy to follow and it gets good believe me and if you wanted to judgement both very awesome games 😁
I think the hack and slash genre as a whole is what you are looking for.
Subnautica. There is storyline. But you can just ignore it and enjoy a game
If you don’t mind something minimal, then Superflight can be fun.
If you like science and technology and space you could try the game im making, its called Science Simulator - The Science Educational video game. https://store.steampowered.com/app/893910/Science_Simulator/
should be finished in a few months
Idk if Stardew Valley is on PC or not, but if it is, you’ll get lost in it forever.
Just Cause 2&3 are my go to brain hibernation games
You can spend hours exploring the huge map blowing up military bases, discovering vehicles, and coming up with fun ways to use the grapple hook system.
I barely even know what the stories are about.
Forager did it for me. No prior knowledge needed. No hardcore focus. No nothing really. Perfect after coming home all burnt-out, booting up while emptying your pockets, starting to play without much thought and realizing you’ve been at it for 5 hours straight and it’s midnight now, and you haven’t even changed clothes or had dinner.
At least that’s how my experience went. It just flew so nicely.
