Ghostrunner was the game to satisfy my Need for Speed until I played the Ghostrunner DLC which was even speedier. Haven’t gotten a chance to play the sequel yet tho

Ghost of Tsushima has one flaw and that’s console exclusivity.
The story length is perfect. Side quests don’t drag for too long or get done before you realize. Getting 100% was satisfying but not grueling.
After 100 hours of gameplay I’ve never faced a game-breaking bug. Only a couple that I laughed off.
I legit forgot my cousin was sleeping on his bed behind me on multiple occasions and woke him up with my reactions. Also forgot I am a human in need of food and sleep after several hours of nonstop gameplay.
Loosely based on a real story; including an invasion force that decimated the Island’s legendary protectors, family in danger, conflict with self and conflict with tradition, losing one’s identity for the good of one’s people, unlikely allies and believable character progression.
Incredibly satisfying combat. Good enemy variety not only with how many different types of enemies there are but also how different each and every one feels to fight. Satisfying but not overly difficult boss fights. Rewarding quests. Good RPG elements that don’t take over the game. Incredible voice acting. I could go all night listing everything this game does right and only need an hour to explain everything it does wrong. Almost everything in the game feels like it has a purpose. And nothing in the game feels incomplete.
You can take a screenshot at any point in the game and it would make a beautiful wallpaper. The visuals strike, animations flow and sceneries make you stop to admire them.
I would pick up an online game I previously abandoned like Dead by Daylight or R6S. I don’t think ANY singleplayer game can keep you entertained for 365 days 24/7. Also 8760 hours of gameplay is enough to make me a god in any online game.
Katana Zero just says “You’re a ronin with time bending powers go kill these bitches and reflect bullets”.
Playing Dishonored 2’s NG+ with all powers available was my favorite pass time. You’re basically a God and the only challenge is deciding who you’re going to kill and how creative do you want to get when killing them.
I wouldn’t say GoW is an easy game outright. But compared to games where difficulty is a big part like Souls games, Hollow Knight, Celeste etc it is a much easier game.
Forager did it for me. No prior knowledge needed. No hardcore focus. No nothing really. Perfect after coming home all burnt-out, booting up while emptying your pockets, starting to play without much thought and realizing you’ve been at it for 5 hours straight and it’s midnight now, and you haven’t even changed clothes or had dinner.
At least that’s how my experience went. It just flew so nicely.
I’ve yet to see someone toxic from the Vermintide community.
Deep Rock Galactic has an incredible community as well.
I guess add a dwarf to your game and call it a day lol.
