…Dejan Kovacevic reported that Chuks “made a mistake near the end of the 20-10 loss to the Jaguars at Acrisure Stadium in remarking, apparently within earshot of Tomlin, that the offense should simply kneel out the remainder of the clock rather than continuing to run plays.”
Fuck chuks
Asked “what’s a brother gotta do to get some Hunt’s catsup around here?”
Chuks said iron doesn’t sharpened iron
Chuks told Tomlin he lives in his fears.
I figured he said the CAN have popcorn.
According to him, it was something he said, but he never elaborated further. It’s probably more along the lines of he sucks, but can’t say that.
Doesn’t matter what he said. We can save 8.5M from cutting Chuks next year. Dan Moore costs like 1M to play LT. That’s why Chuks isn’t playing and won’t be playing next year and why BJones will be playing RT unless we get a RT in the draft.
I prefer the “Special Editions” Star Wars
Seems kinda weird based on the amount of times we’ve seen Tomlin give up at the end of a half/game and kneel on it.
I said in another thread that this whole situation felt bizarre because the only other instance of Tomlin benching a player due to conduct was AB in week 17 2019. It’s notable that he did that then, and now, but didn’t do so when, for example, Pickens was bitching on social media, or when Ben was airing his various grievances about his teammates on a radio show, or even with ABs other insane off the field comments and issues
The clear theme with Chuks and the eventual AB benching is that it was an attitude that showed that the player didn’t care about winning the game. Tomlin will let players like George get angry, be publicly upset, but at the end of the day he’s still here to win so it’s ok. Chuks and AB crossed that line
“Why are you benching me, I’m right!”
He said that Sting’s solo career vastly outshines The Police.
