The internal drive has zero games on it i have deleted excess shader cache i couldnt see anything in the disk app you get from the discovery app i cannot access certain folders in dolphin to see what is taking up so much space.

I have set a sudo password but folders wont even give me a chance to use it to access them

Does anyone know how to fix this?

It could be anything from a stuffed download folder, many flatpacks installed, you forgot to empty trash or non steam games leftovers.

Fetch Filelight from Discovery store and run it, it should give you an itemized list sorted by size of all the stuff in your storage.

Beware of sudoing around without knowing what you are doing, there’s a chance you can break stuff.

    Which folders you can’t access?

How confident you are with Konsole?

It might look scary, but you will get the gist of it soon.

You can use kdeconnect app on your phone to use it as a keyboard to type more comfortably in Konsole.

If you take a screenshot with Spectacle (a preinstalled app) you can then send it directly to your phone to be posted on Reddit.

Before deleting anything just ask, no question is stupid, better asking than having to tinker if you mess up.

If you get error messages, taking a screenshot is the best way to get good answers fast.

        You got this!

Have you used cryoutilities in the past ? Try using cryo utilities to reduce swap file size.

Can confirm. 16gb swapfile is overkill, there’s a really, really really limited use case if none for that and on a 64gb deck is overkill.

You cannot simply delete a swapfile, that will cause the system to break. Your deck loves you and try to stop you from making some silly things :)
