Not great. I don’t see Williams like others do. I think he’s a bit of a loose cannon and while he throws on the run well, he pocket presence isn’t awesome and he tries to play hero ball too much. Maye on the other hand is bigger better pocket presence, a just seems like he’s a better all around player in my opinion. Williams may be great but I just don’t think he’d be great with the Bears. He’s similar in ways to Fields and I’m not sure they’ve consistently put him in the healthiest positions to win. Especially Gettsy. I think Gettsy wants him to be a pocket guy and I think that’s more Maye

“How would you feel if the Bears got an incredibly well regarded prospect at two of the most important positions in football”

    This sub: Eh…pretty lousy…

I’m a big believer that Carolina will not be #1. If you watched NE or the Giants play the past couple weeks you’d know they are terrible and have every reason to tank at this point. The Panthers are trying to get better and play the entire NFC South (all very winnable games).

I predict we’ll finish with #3 (via CAR) and wherever the Bears finish. Ideally, we take MHJ + a top tier OL or we take the top ranked DL/DE. MAYBE we end up taking Penix out of Washington. He looks like a potential stud that isn’t getting the same amount of hype as Maye and Williams. I think GB, LV, or the Jets may take him though.

I live in Oregon and just went to the Oregon vs USC game on Saturday. Caleb Williams is really good. I was super impressed… and I was expecting to think he stunk.

Absolutely ELATED. I don’t think a team has ever accomplished getting the #1 QB and #1 OT in the same draft.

If MHJ is gone I see them dropping 5-7 spots and taking neighbors or Coleman.

Olu seems surplus and they probably want a 2 to avoid the 50 pick gap.

Wouldn’t hate it but would feel weird to take Olu given our needs elsewhere
