OK now I am finally interested in CW as a brand. That dial is in my opinion, better executed than any other Aventurine dial I have seen, including Lange’s limited edition two-hander, which was one of my favourite dials up until now. Now just have to figure out to get one!

I pray that this fits my wrist. Wouldn’t complain if they release a slightly smaller version but this might still work.

I want to see the aventurine in person. But it’s pretty nice.

So what we end up with is a watch that can’t be set accurately but possibly twice a month, cannot be read accurately, day or night, and is a knock on at least 3 others. Someone once said CW is like Swatch+. The Sugee is a better deal. $189

The moonphase is powered by CW’s own modular movement, JJ04, which is able to follow the waxing (and waning) of the moon accurately for 128 years. This also allows the watch’s ‘moons’ to chart a continuous, uninterrupted journey across the dial.
