Produced somewhere in the 1970’s. Gold plated I would assume, but not 100% on that.

I get the dress watch aspect, but in my opinion it is missing a bit of color. As you already have the DJ 41 and like it, how about a GMT Master Pepsi / Jubilee or even a Submariner Bluesy? A Grand Seiko Spring Drive wouldn’t go amiss either, perhaps the Shunbun or Mistflake.

Keeping the Japanese theme - Citizen Tsuyosa, Seiko Speedtimer Solar or Seiko 5 Sports GMT. Probably Tsuyosa as something a bit more ‘special’ rather than ‘tool watch’.

OK now I am finally interested in CW as a brand. That dial is in my opinion, better executed than any other Aventurine dial I have seen, including Lange’s limited edition two-hander, which was one of my favourite dials up until now. Now just have to figure out to get one!

Some of Longines’ designs really appeal to me, as does the brand, heritage, etc. You really get a lot for your money with them. In that price bracket, and compared to the competition, there really is a lot to love. As others have mentioned, the Zulu Time, Conquest/Hydroconquest are excellent watches.

However I don’t actually own one, and never have. I guess the reason is that in the end, I would have to stomach the financial loss when I ultimately flip it for what I really wanted. Which for the Hydroconquest, would probably be the Submariner or 300M. In the case of the Zulu Time, would definitely be the GMT Master II.
