He seemed to be an athletic “marginal sized big” at the time we drafted him. Let’s assume he develops into a player that belongs on the 15 man roster. What do you see the role he will fill going forward.
PJ Tucker, Jr.
I like him a lot. He can flat out score but I’m not sure what role he could play in the NBA. He’s only listed at 6’4 so in no way is he a big. Basically dort and Cason are the only guys on the team his size and he can’t move like they do. If this was the thunder a few years ago, he could get poku or lindy type of minutes and possibly turn into a Aaron Wiggins type of player but idk if he’ll get many minutes this year with a clear push to win and shortening of the rotation
It’s hard for me to envision his role tbh. His primary strength is that he’s a bucket from about 18 feet in, and those 6’4” guys with that skill set aren’t exactly teeming in the NBA. I also haven’t seen much, but I imagine he has slow feet on D just based on body type. If he’ll need to find ways to expand his game (3p efficiency is probably the easiest)
