Any immortal rank could give their opinion on stealing wisdom rune at 7:00 as pos5? Do or don’t?
ABSOLUTELY NOT
Only if there isn’t anything else to do and the lane is doing well. For example if you got a kill and the other opponent just leaves the lane and tower hugs, as long as one of you grab lotus and other bounty, all should be good.
I asked the question on this subreddit, truedota2 subreddit and learndota2 subreddit.

The thing I hate the most about these subs (and especially TrueDota) is that incredibly often you get wild opinions from people that don’t even disclaim their rank
So many times I read things written like they’re absolute truths and to me (an Immortal player) they sound like something an archeon would think, it should be on the spirit of a sub called TRUEdota to atleast disclaim your rank
As pos 1 one of the things i hate the most, and tilt me the most when i see my pos 5 go for bounty rune
I’m not good but in my experience playing pos 5, it depends on the lane situation. If the carry is laboring in lane, then no. But if he’s stomping, I’d probably go for it and it’d be a bonus if I can time the creep wave pull.
If I’m playing pos 3 and notice the enemy pos 5 is all the way at the bounty spawn I’m gonna either commit 100% on killing the pos 1 or at least drop his hp to were hr cant lane anymore
If the lane is going well I’ll stack the small camp and grab the bounty rune at the same time. Though it’s more likely I’m fighting the enemy 4 for the lotus 🪷
6.2 immortal here, don’t ever do it. Contest lotus which is much more important, if you can’t use that time to stack/ deward. If enemy 4 goes for the bounty, kill or harass enemy offlaner.
Leaving that bounty there is good to refill your mid’s bottle when they gank.
As a support player who tends to support immortals, I gave up on it. If I go to stack and grab the rune at 2:50, my carry is normally blind and cannot read the lane so they die alone. They don’t understand how to play passively for 15 seconds. If immortals do that I’m assuming all brackets are the same way.
That fact you are even asking this question is concerning.
I hope your asking as a Pos 1 player who wants the community to justify their belief that this is the wrong thing to do.
And not a Pos 5 player who wants the community to justify their believe that this is the right thing to do.

I think it depends on how lane is going and who you play against. But i would be happy if my supp just does not go for first item midas and afk farm…
I just joined the game and Im archon 3. I play very often pos5. Never in my 50 ranked games will I go for bounty instead of lotus lol.
