Are you talking a healthy Bills roster or the one that played last night?
I mean our roster was good in 2018 and 2017 and the team blew both of those seasons. 2018 was especially rough.
I mean we were up against the best QB in the history of the game, so there’s that.

I’ve never seen a fanbase excuse a HC as much as our fanbase
Blew several games in 2018 that weren’t against Tom Brady. Blew the game in 2017 against Blake Bortles.
Tomlin has his pros and cons.
He’s a great motivator. His players generally respect the hell out of him, and he can coach them up well. He does a great job keeping team chemistry through losses/nonsense.
He is average at Xs and Os. He does not like to use young players unless he has to and stunts development. In the same vein, he leans on veterans even when their performances decline.
Currently I think he has way too much say in the overall operation. He’s the coach and he should not have final say in draft or personnel. He’s at his best with great offensive/defensive minds as coordinators. Currently he doesn’t have that and that’s a core part of the issues we see.
McD and Tomlin are similar in that they do their best work with lesser rosters
Tomlin could win a SB with current Steelers roster
