we’re not gonna get Johnson and Evero as our coordinators their next stop isn’t going to be HC somewhere

EPA can be skewed by a good play or two. I recall a sequence this year where Buffalo was backed up inside the ten, completed a 35 yard pass to Diggs and then proceeded to throw 3 straight incompletions and punt. The EPA for the long throw was like +2 and for the incompletions it was like -.7 or something so, although it was a pretty shit drive they still gained +1.3 EPA
This will be a big challenge for Brady. That Eagles defense makes adjustments at halftime. They are allowing on average, just under nine points in the second half I’ve games all year. And that includes some garbage time touchdowns.
This contains nothing interesting, in fact I’m hard pressed to even find a tidbit of any kind
McD and Tomlin are similar in that they do their best work with lesser rosters
Ben Johnson is not leaving the lions.
Well a long ass run by cook kinda fucked us there. We tried to go slow, we ran it every play.
Are you think this meeting was just to get the choreography down?
Then you should check out our efficiency stats……
This is a great breakdown. There is a strong argument, that if Allen had made the “correct call“ none of the three interceptions shown in this video would have happened. There is certainly a lack of adaptation in the playcalling, however, Josh is failing to read the defense well in a lot of cases. Eric from cover one had a breakdown up the other day where the offense had a cover two coverage beater called, the defense lined up in what was obviously cover one and Josh failed to make any adjustments. Instead of realizing that the route concept that was called would be ineffective against that particular coverage and audible to a play designed to beat cover one, he just rolled with that. Predictably nobody was open. The end result is this looks like a terrible play call but really Josh made poor pre-snap reads, and continued with the play that was doomed from the start.
MacDermots, over arching football philosophy is to not do anything that would allow your team to be hurt by a big play on either offense or defense. This has lead to Dorsey trying to reign in Josh and keep the offense in schedule. It’s also lead to Josh trying to keep level emotionally (what did he call it “quiet positive” or some shit?). I get the idea, a guy like Rodgers would feast in this offense bc he will take the easy throw 10 times out of 10. That’s not our guy though, McD and Co. need to realize they’ve got a gunslinger at QB and they have to let him off the leash. Let him get fired up, let him run, let him roll out and chuck it. They are trying to turn a wild animal into a house pet, if you don’t let him off the leash to hunt every once in a while he’s gonna kill some of your chickens.
Fuck the bengals
Running backs are worth more to the team they are on then the draft capital they will return.
Our OC is widely trashed (unjustly IMO) and our HC is also our DC and he’s probably more teased as the HC than as DC
Yeah but the broncos didn’t pick up his option so he has just one year left same as Ramsey did
You have a 104-64 record over the last 9+ years and have made the playoffs 6 of the 9 years. I hear the same thing from our fan base about McDermott it’s wild to me. I think Tomlin is a great coach though I think he’s better at getting the most out of a less talented team than he is at optimizing the performance of a talented team.
Can we please try for Frankie Luvu?
The jags are terribly efficient, they don’t wow you on offense but they will “matriculate” down the field. Keeping them out of the endzone in the red zone will be key, if you can hold them to field goals in half their red zone possessions you can win.
I deem this false as if he were the smartest player he would be demanding a trade.
We are converting red zone possessions to TDs 70% of the time this year, I think they Igor a good plan. Not to mention Murray has 4 inches and 40 pounds on cook and runs in a much more downhill style
Josh got one against the broncos, it happens
