Our offense clearly needs a massive overhaul. There’s no way they prepared in the off-season enough rollouts, quick plays, and screens to carry an offense through an entire game. Yet that is exactly what they need given the poor play of the OLine and Howells tendency to take sacks (a fatal combo).

I don’t think you can accomplish that overnight. I’m assuming they’re adding more and more of those each week, but there’s no way they could do enough AND prepare for the specific opponent.

What they could really use is time. A free week would really benefit this team. Unfortunately, our Bye week is in week 14 of the season.

I believe the offense is going to get better, but it’s not going to quickly and it’s going to be ugly in the meantime.

If they went the whole offseason without preparing for poor oline play after knowing it would be a weakness… just unforgivable man

Short passes, screens, etc are kind of hallmarks of the Andy Reid offense. Short bang-bang plays are what replaces a portion of a traditional run game in such an offense. Get playmakers the ball in space.

This is part of why it’s perplexing as to why we aren’t doing a lot of this stuff.

I wonder if it has to do with SH height? Maybe they need to practice the movements better so they aren’t blocking his vision
