Correct, but what’s the context? 😎

We’ve won the last couple with Uncle Jeff closing games instead of Bari. It’s nice that Bari knows he needs to be better in order to close. Nothing is handed out anymore
When we got udoka we also got several other assistant coaches that came with him. Feel like that has more of an impact on the team than any 1 singular coaching change, even if it is the head coach.
Silas was the head coach for 3 years. Initially hired under the impression he would handle coaching James Harden & friends team structure. The moment James left Houston, we went into full tank mode. Daantoni leaves & so does Morey. Westbrook trade sends our picks to Oklahoma and we’re short on young talent from trading our late 1st round picks for vets.
Rockets committed to being ass by trading away several serviceable veterans for picks so that we could make a strategic bounce back to winning basketball when we no longer own our picks. Losing for 3 seasons was on purpose. It’s not like anyone expects a team of 1st & 2nd year players to win a chip.
Still I’m impressed by udokas staff that has influenced the culture change.
Vets we brought on (not you jock) have been so important to our teams play. We can play with 1 or 2 guys that aren’t extremely experienced if we have vets to make up for it. But last 3 years, all 5 players on the court had never been a part of a winning nba offensive or defensive system.
Silas may be a good coach in many other ways but with this team and the difficult circumstances he faced it’s safe to say that he did not perform well. Which is likely exactly what ownership wanted so they could acquire assets.
I’m a Thunder fan, but also a huge Auburn fan.
How’s Jabari been this year? I see his efficiency is WAY up, but his minutes and attempts are down. Is it a matter of taking better shots, or is Ime converting him into a slightly more traditional big?
