Go ahead and downvote me in advance - i don’t care - but I think Peters is smart to preserve his tackles for the 2nd half of season. Our secondary is our weakest link on D - can’t have marcus p on injured reserve.
If someone can get this young, talented, promising CB back to his Sunday best it should be the coach that brought him to the dance in the first place. Good signing all things considered!

Had a 74.7 overall PFF grade last year as a rookie. Barely played this year as he entered the doghouse.
I was hoping this would happen. Hope AP can help get him on the straight and narrow esp considering their history together.

Jones was a legitimately good corner last year… don’t like his off-the-field issues, but given his familiarity with Pierce and the fact that outside corner has been inconsistent this year, why not take a shot on him for the rest of the season?

Low risk signing…if he’s a knucklehead, he’s gone. If he shows anything like he did last year, he might be the best corner on the team.
