Their burgers are overrated, but the fries are good.

St. Louis bagel…
Yeah, it works.
Like your phone carrier, maps application developer, Facebook, and any other app with location data, isn’t actively trying to sell that info to as many paying customers as possible…
Does it? I bet some weirdo on YouTube has done this.
You can shim a surprising number of them with a cut up soda can. If you’ve got the time, lockpicks are pretty easy to buy and a novice can pick most locks in less than an hour with a “raking” technique.
If you can’t defeat the lock, attack the mount. A lot of doors/drawers/cabinets use thin punched steel, or mild steel for the hasp/lock point. You can get through those in a few minutes with files, saws, pliers, etc.
Can we talk about the implications of “retruths”? Sounds a lot like “Alternative facts”…
Your writing is great, but your descriptive talents would be appreciated elsewhere.
It’s x now, they are xhits.
Werewolves of London again.
Ahwooooooooo!
Life is a brief glimpse of awareness between two infinite voids of non-existence. It doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t have a purpose.
I’m sorry for your loss.
Why can’t the oppressed peacefully get their rights from their oppressors?
Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.
As a child of divorced parents, don’t stick with it for the kids. You can separate and still be civil to each other and cooperatively raise children. It’s better for them, and better for you. Sure, it sucked when my parents split, they fought real bad some times, but not nearly as bad as when they were together. I got a real swell stepdad out of it, and I learned what real, loving, cooperative adults look like. I also got to see how determined and dedicated my father was.
Every situation is different though, but that is my expericence.
Russia started this war shooting elementary schools with tanks and launching rocket strikes on hospitals. Do you really think this is just about “the western ideal” of crushing Russia? If you want to see why Ukraine is fighting so hard to not become part of Russia, just look at how shitty Russia has been to its soldiers and people during this war.
I told my wife that when I die, if she can, claim she doesn’t recognize the body so that the state has to dispose of me to save costs.
Because the fastest and easiest way to make the line go up is to cut costs, and the fastest ways to cut costs are to cut corners on your product, or cut your staff. Both of these action only produce a brief “line go up” moment before their consequences cause line to go back down. But you’re a line go up guy, and you know just what to do, cut more corner! Reduce more overhead! The problem is that eventually you won’t be able to cut anymore corners, or reduce any more overhead, and then the whole house of cards comes tumbling down.
Yeah, through the power of vomiting, it survives.
I really liked House. I don’t know shit about medicine, but my whole job is troubleshooting, and the troubleshooting in the show has actually helped me.
Some big takeaways…
Most hard to solve issues are really just a combination of 2 or 3 simple issue acting together in a weird way.
Everybody lies - I don’t necessarily agree with this in my line of work, but I frequently use “Not everybody tells the truth” as a better rule. I can’t recall having a client lie to me, but every day they tell me things that are wrong or untrue because they don’t understand what happened.
When in doubt, do a shit-ton of pain killers and berate people for not having the answer, even though you don’t have it yourself (shift blame/expectation management)
That’s the story of every “line go up” CEO. You think they would stop hiring these guys.
Failure is a chain.
Culver’s puts the AED right next to the soda fountains. They know their customer base, and are concerned about their safety and ability to come back.
