No one is claiming the defense is great, just that it’s talent, not coaching that’s the problem

He’s not the one out there tho…we don’t have a top 10 defensive roster, yet we’re a top 10 defense. That’s cause of AG.

It’s insane how no one brings this up. Everyone’s acting like AG has a roster filled with pro-bowlers.

How are you going to play man with our trash secondary

AG is one of the better Defensive coaches in the NFL. There is a disproportionate amount of AG hate on this sub, and in the media. Our offensive players are way better than our defensive roster - by a large margin. We have the best O-Line, a top 10 QB, two RB’s that are spectacular, and obviously AMRSB, and LaPorta is starting to look like a rockstar. I’d argue that with these types of tools, the egg laid in the ravens game was pathetic and BJ did not get as much scrutiny as he should have.

Now, pair our roster with the defensive roster. Besides Hutch, there Dline is basically depth players. McNeil doesn’t show up in many games, and Buggs is on and off with off field issues. Our LB has one rockstar in Anzalone, but barnes and Campbell are backups playing starter roles. Our secondary is even worse, with Cam and kerby being the only highlight. Tracy walker and Jerry Jacobs are backups, and if it weren’t for the injuries, they would not have seen any play time.

Besides all that, AG has them playing at a HIGH level. Imagine if they actually drafted defensive players next year in higher rounds. AG is a beast and what he’s done with sub-par roster is incredible. It’s always easy to fire people, and at the end of the day, I trust DC more than any pundit. If he believes in AG, I believe in him.
