Works great for me. No complaints. (KDE Wayland AMD on tumbleweed)
This might be easier if done through heroic launcher
I have been using it for ages and haven’t gotten banned. There’s always a chance you could be, and i wouldn’t explicitly recommend anyone to use it for that reason. But you can run it and you probably won’t get banned, so if you’re willing to take the (small) risk then you can play it just fine.
I’m not going to say not to use NTFS since it’s your decision and there is probably a way you can get it to work with a lot of tweaking and researching online, but you will inevitably encounter issues using it. Even if you can fix them now, new ones will emerge in the future as proton and other Linux programs evolve. It’s just easier to use ext4/btrfs
2018ish. I used Linux for a while alongside windows, then eventually exclusively for over a year. Then had to use windows for a bit but with the aim of always returning to Linux. Then last year I switched back and have been using it ever since. I still have a windows partition on my laptop and a drive with windows on my desktop, but I haven’t touched either since switching to Linux except to play a game my gf wanted to play with anticheat.
Seems very cool. Not a big enough upgrade for me to sell my lcd model but it makes me excited for the steam deck 2
Not normal. My 6950xt maxes at 70° or so and 85° absolute max junction temp. But I live in Canada and it’s cold even in my house so take that into account.
Probably Nvidia issue. It works much better than x11 for me on two amd and one Intel system
