So we are in and if Miami wins we even win the group. Great work by the team. Happy for the bench players and coaching staff that gets an extra needed check. Let’s get them all some more now

I mean this year? No. But long-term? I generally trust Shoen and I think we’re a normal rebuilding team with solid leadership that long-term is in good shape. We need someone like Sherrone Moore who can build a line and other changes like a top tier QB and a WR1 and a cost efficient RB but that all can come from good GM/coaching
Why the hell is AT playing with an MCL injury? I’m fine with tough guys playing through injuries except when they’re someone part of our future plans and their injury could cause long-term issues for them. This is insane
I’m the opposite since to me Maye is a generational type talent from the times I’ve seen him and that’s a rare opportunity. But I’ll never be mad about a win
“So I hate paying $40 mil for 2 years for DJ so can I instead pay $55+ mil for longer for a QB who has never made it further in the playoffs than DJ did last year despite a top O line, top WRs and a top defense?”
And no top 10 QB is ever available in free agency. Only by trade for a ton of draft picks and other players plus a huge salary
Weird idea but let’s wait till the offseason to have an idea about where we pick at least. We could draft anywhere from 1 to 8 IMO (especially as the Eagles week 18 likely rest guys). So let’s cool it and see what our options likely are before this meaningless debate.
Also lol at “I want to insult people who don’t hate him in the title but please be civil”
Honestly having watched a few full games of both though, I’d say the same about Maye and would MUCH rather him. Which ironically pains me as someone who went to Duke and is a big Duke fan. But Maye in bigger moments looks MUCH better consistently and has a lot of the same escapability and throws under pressure. Reminds me of why I was always told not to send a highlight reel but instead a full game to places because anyone can look good on the highlight reel
Yes and also how do we support that QB. I mean a lot of these failures are the Jets as you mention. It’s more about surrounding them with pieces and coaching that can help them succeed
And we ruined the last few years of Eli’s career by having a garbage line
And as a reminder the three games without him not only had more possessions because of the incredible defense we’ve played but also all three were with Barkley finally back and against overall lower rated defenses.
So my prediction is 3 players are sold. Limited time as we have to make deals by 4 pm Tuesday. I’ll list my trades below.
Leonard Williams. I’m assuming we eat almost half his remaining salary and save $5 mil or so in cap and get a fourth and a seventh for that.
Adoree Jackson. I assume we eat about a third of his salary and get something like a sixth rounder for that. Saves about $4 mil in cap too.
Banks INT is fact. Love Hyatt but their secondary is amazing! And their line won’t give Tyrod much time to throw. So I’m saying soon but not this weekend for Hyatt
I’m a Duke fan. Coach K won that award 0 times in his career. And yet he’s a legend and a HOF coach. Same with all sports. Not winning the award doesn’t change what an incredible coach he is
Honestly yes please trade him this season…if a superstar who’s right for this team is available. I’m glad he’s playing well and has regained his value as an asset but honestly to compete with the top teams I think he’s the most likely piece along with Mitch and our stash of picks who are on the block if we need to land a star and they’re available.
But trading him to just get rid of him was always dumb.
