The screen is everything for me, the graphics just look nicer on it and even at the same res the image is more pleasing. Besides that the longer battery life is amazing.

Extremely. It’s prob my favourite interface since apple products. It’s miles more intuitive than windows. It really feels like an experience you would find in a console system.

Oh definitely this. Especially since I never played dead space prior to Callisto. When I returned Callisto, I ended up buying dead soace. And holy shit not only does Callisto suck, but it also straight up rips off dead space.

Maybe. My issues is I’m super aware of repetitive game mechanics or bad storylines. Once I feel the game has that I lose interest very quickly. Also, in general I find games too long these days.

That said I played through FF7 Remake on the deck, and some of its repetitive parts I did while on the toilet thanks to the deck. So that’s one game that I finished which I would have otherwise dropped. The pick up for 15min nature of the deck is why I got through it. There’s just no way I’d sit down for 1-2hrs on my pc to play it.

It’s worth a try I would say. Gaming is fun, and maybe having a handheld you can game in in bed vs in the couch will be a better experience for you.

Would be cool if they made a tv plugin that ran off the cloud. But this is like 15 years away for valve.

I’m all for shaking up the meta but this is a 10 year old game, I look forward to content just as much as patches, and after only patches I look forward to content even more.

All this does is overhype the delayed arcanas ptch. Valve are setting themselves up for disappointment. And the fact we didn’t have a battlepass this year doesn’t look good when content is delayed long and longer. Let’s see what frostivus looks like…
