I think sooner or later you have to build around a QB and see what happens. Getting a new QB every year and ignoring OL is setting him up to get his ass kicked before he can develop and get comfortable.

I think the team has pieces they can build around, but they need to hit a few points to make a run next year.
Assemble a new fo and coaching staff
Start the rebrand process to finish removing the stain of Dan
Have a solid FA so we have flexibility to pick high skill guys that fall without having to focus on need. Also, draft the best LT available with a first round pick so he is locked in for 5 years on a rookie contract.
As far as game plan, I’d say build around Howell like he’s the guy. If he doesn’t pan out, we will have an attractive destination for a solid QB moving forward. Likely 500 or a bit better as a way to early prediction
If we can’t beat an embarrassing Giants team, I don’t think our odds are great
What a dumb looking mascot
I think it would make more sense to replace Jason Wright and GM staff now so we can have a solid plan going into the off season. I don’t see them finding a DC off the streets or in house that will make a major impact.
We had 6x first round picks on defensive with 2x former defensive minded head coaches with one of the worst defenses in the league.
Culture is better because Snyder isn’t the owner, not because of Ron. Failing to make a playoff run due to poor staffing and player evaluation is his only legacy in DC.
I’ve never heard of him before. Who cares?
Not most accurate, but it’s probably Haskins purely off strength
I’d rather see Jason Wright fired and replaced. He adds no value to the organization. That way, we can have a solid plan going into the off-season.
If sweat isn’t under contract by trade deadline we should deal him so the new coaching staff next year has more picks to work with. We could still sign him in free agency after this year.
Young on the other hand is too late to pick up his option. I don’t know if he’s shown enough prodution to feel good about a long term contract. After 4 years only 14 sacks and has had injury issues. I’d trade him if we get a offer 100% and let him test free agency
I’d trade CY over Sweat
Keep his job, or players could be out of his hands. He’s lost to two bad teams already this year.
Screw him for the comanders brand. He went radio silent after that
