I have to lace them all the way or they sit too loose.
Go to a store and try on all the Vans starting at wmns 7/5.5 men’s and upwards. I guess you can stop when you can put your feet in there twice lol. I really have no experience with Saucony sadly. But I do hear people going for a bigger size for running shoes. I have a pair of Adidas Climaboost I bought too big, I went up 1,5 size (cause they were real cheap and I hate spending on running shoes as I hardly use them) when I do use them it’s with 2 pairs of socks…but the 0.5 size up would probably have been perfect. For Converse I’m a men’s/kids size US 3, which translates to a size US 4 in Vans for me. In US size I go up in sizing, but in EU size they’re both size 35.
So, 24 cms it is then? I’m still interested in what brands and sizing you wear? I think it’s deciding between wmns 7 or 7.5 (5.5 or 6 men’s) for Vans for you. So if you can try on those sizes that should help you decide.
If you have small feet the juniors Vans are your best bet. They are narrow compared to adult Vans. For adult Vans shoes: comfy Cush lowlands, ultimate waffle and for some the ultrarange and possibly era.
Too bad they didn’t have 34,5 at the time. I do think they’re cool. They look like you’re about to to go to space. It’s super cool. I bought me a Vans black and white winter coat and I’m sure those white ones would have combined perfectly.
If you are usually size 7,5-8 then it’s not possible your feet are 21 cms…either you have been wearing too big shoes all the time or something went wrong while measuring…which brands have you been wearing so far?
I tried those, they fit so much bigger than other Vans…
They’re tight around the sides, comfortable otherwise. But I could never wear the chuck 70s
Buy them in my size (Us 4) and I will give you the laces :)
I’m wearing cc slip ons half size down from my other vans. They do fit bigger.
I’ve got the low Serio pair with white, green and yellow. I prefer the high lowland Serio pairs I own though as they remain comfortable through the day. As for the lows: The look is great, love that Vans logo around the laces, sizing is similar to other Vans, but when my feet swell I can feel that stripe before the tongue area digging in my foot bone (I don’t on the highs, might be cause that stripe part is in a slightly different place). I still love them though and they should make more, especially the highs.
You can’t really base this on other people’s experience, since your foot and what you experience is gonna be different. I do own a pair of the Knu skools. They have the same flat fit as old skools on the bottom, but the difference is the fat tongue that makes it feel a little heavier. I have high arches, so I lace them really loose and it works with the padding. They are slightly wider in the front. Now I read something about popcush in the comments above. This might totally work for you, it doesn’t for me, cause of the high arches, the added heaviness and my feet feel better in the regular flat Vans bottoms.
I got a steal on Vinted for a pair of relaxed authentic chinos in black…they are so cool…they’re a little ginormous on me, regular size, but fit much bigger in the waist than slim fit chino in the same size. It’s an interesting style and nothing that a belt can’t fix…
You should get your regular Vans size….otherwise you could go half size up if it’s really impossible to get your size…
I would totally trip over my own feet with those blocks…other than that they are something special, in a good way.
