Well, at least that will take your mind off global warming. Which is good since we have already hit 1.5°C of warming.

That’s the joke.
So that is why my late grandma was Christian!
Guess I’m not interested in your website after all.
You would think that, wouldn’t you?
it is already a great tool for programmers. Which means programming anything, including new AI, will only go exponentially faster.
Yes to it being a tool. But right now all it can really do is bog standard stuff. Also have you read about that the use of Github Copilot seems to reduce the quality of code? This means we cannot yet rely on this type of technology. Again, it’s a limited tool and that is it. At least for now.
The term AI is a lot more broad than you think.
That is precisely what I dislike. It’s kinda like calling those crappy scooter thingies “hoverboards”. It’s just a marketing term. I simply oppose the use of “AI” for the weak kinds of AI we have right now and I’d prefer “AI” to only refer to strong AI. Though that is of course not within my power to force upon people and most people seem to not care one bit, so eh 🤷🏼♂️
No. Mint is fine for my dad who uses a browser and an email program and nothing else. I’m not gonna recommend it to people who do a lot more with their machines. I can tell them I use Linux and they can ask me anything if they are ever curious about making the switch, but that is it. If they don’t make the conscious decision to use Linux, then they won’t stick with it anyways.
I just can’t stand Kate showing me a little orange bar meaning I have not saved the changes yet. The bar must be green! I am a slave to the green bar. The white dot in vscode (I use an open source build) is a bit more tolerable, but whenever I notice it I HAVE to save the file.
Remember when they came up with the concept of mRNA-vaccines and they thought it would change their DNA permanently? What we actually got was the most effective vaccines ever. Why is it that with actually good inventions like this we get skeptics, but when we get “AI” nonsense then everybody is just on board?
Eh, I bought Grounded in Early Access. Maye by Obsidian and backed by Microsoft. I think this should count as AAA. Also I think you don’t mean that “small, indie studio” cause those are few and far between. Sons of the Forest? They have a Publisher (literally the opposite of being independent). I think there are lots of games which you have put into that category that are not actually indie devs at all. Anyway, my point is just that it’s not a black and white issue.
Is that a permanent solution or do I have to set it up every time? I just use profiles. about:profiles there you can setup a new one and launch it in a new window. I like to theme the windows in a different color to not get confused. Bright red is for 18+
The interview was a shit show, but your interpretation of this and that it supposedly destroyed I find ridiculous.
But NVidia isn’t a barrier for wayland anymore.
I disagree. When I used it recently it was still very much subpar compared to the AMD experience. It’s usable, but not to the point that I would like to use it.
No. Ghostery sold out years ago. Also uBlockOrigin can do the same, but apparently no one knows that you easily subscribe to additional block lists (one of them just for cookie banners).
Isn’t this skibidi toilet stuff for Generation Alpha? The one after the zoomers?
Just as Tim Berners-Lee intended 👃
Yes. It’s illegal actually. A Microsoft team has been dispatched and is en route to your place right now to install Win 11 S on all of your devices.
