Impossible Creatures; the jig of it was that each unit was a comb-/abomination of 2 animals and you could design your own army with what features you wanted this way. Then some wacky steam&dieselpunkish tech and vibrant colors it was pretty fun.

Nah, she has a life lol
I liked the Bioshock 1 hacking minigame once I got the hang of it, though it gets a little repetetive over the game.
Mass Effect 1 as well, Shepard emerging from the wreckage.
I haven’t played it but board games brought to mind 5D Chess, where you can also send pieces INTO THE PAST which then branches off to another “timeline”, I think you always play the “chronologically/turn wise” earliest game and need to get a checkmate in any one timeline.
King of Dragon Pass and spiritual (legally, in practice basically same) prequel Six Ages: Ride Like the Wind for us fantasy nerds, you manage a ‘barbarian’ tribe that has migrated to a new area in a fantasy world.
Idk how unknown these are, but Warhammer 40k: Mechanicus for being good atmospheric turn-based tactical combat game (not an X-Com clone!).
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 (1 is also ok but 2 has more variety) for a space fleet strategy game, but less Expanse and more like Age of Sail with broadsides and boarding actions. Idk why anyone would even play a space battle game where you can’t order RAMMING SPEED!!!
Battlestations: Midway and Bs: Pacific for WW2 Pacific theater buffs, you will mostly control a single ship/sub/plane (usually as part of squadron) but often also command other vessels at the same time, like a small task force, they will individually act on their own but for cooperation you have to lead them effectively. Usually you can choose/switch any one of your units to control in real-time.
There was also this Star Trek Mirrorverse flash game where you could trade cargo with other neutral ships, usually each was selling something and would buy specific thing, but sometimes you could find a ship that would sell and buy the same thing, like you could buy ‘Stembolts’ at 15lat/ton and then sell it back to them at 25lat/ton, or atleast until they warped out.
I rarely went to those beyond the mandatory quests, but there’s a couple, imo the open wasteland is just much more fun. I prefer 3’s encounter systems where you’re never quite sure what you run into.
Fallout New Vegas & Skyrim come first to mind.
Well, he supposedly tests as a human, which would make the other test results pretty ambiguous.
Just found Skyrim plantation CC with a handwritten note literally ending like “…, wait I hear someth-”
