What about for JC?
I heard you guys would be okay with bertains/THT and a swap?
As a thunder fan I just love to see it.
I agree. Isaiah Joe, from everything I’ve seen, just seems like a future all-star. If he were given the minutes he could very well drop 20 ppg right now on phenomenal efficiency. I’d like him to develop into a true 3 and D guy like a klay.
Just have SGA pushing the ball with the first teamers and have Giddey run offense for the backups.
It creates such an offensive threat to have Chet, Joe, SGA, J-Dub on the floor together. They could kill with a PNR or SGA/J Dub cutting. And Chet/Sga/Dort can handle whatever defensive responsibility is needed.
Giddey could just focus on rebounding, assisting and defense off the bench and turn into a Ben Simmons type of role player (but one who actually gives a shit to play).
Giddey been stepping back hard the last couple of days.
He’s been really inefficient on offense.
He’s shooting 43/27/81 which tells me he needs to shoot the ball less than what he’s shooting it and pass more. The inefficient scoring hurts the team as a whole and builds bad habits. It’s an ugly 19ppg. The same reason we rag on Poole.
Now the 81% free throw metric suggests he probably develops a shot over the next couple of years but isn’t there yet.
Like if he was dropping 12/10/4 on 50/30/80 (making more taking less) that’s an entirely different thing, especially considering how poor his supporting cast is. Those are good numbers for a rookie. You’re talking about one of the best defenders in the league who gets a lot of rebounds and is actually efficient on offense.

The Knicks are #6 and OKC is very close at #2 being only 0.2 Off Boston.
Indiana is tied for #8.
A lot of the teams that started their rebuilds back around 2018 are finally coming to fruition.
The Pelicans Cavs and kings are a bit lower than we’ve expected but are still in good position for the future.
The only team that’s been rebuilding that long and is still bad, is the Detroit pistons.
Also the hornets but their future seems brighter.
It restricts things like signing mle for teams who are over the luxury tax, but it doesn’t restrict drafting, which is where the thunders picks come in. Teams over the tax can also make trades as long as they take less salary in then what they send out. So the thunders could still do a sign and trade for example.
There’s a lot of small market teams that waste the careers of their superstars by not winning a chip?
Well the problem is they don’t have the God Dillion Brooks anymore
Good rotations. I like that they let sga play a lot in the first and third and how the lineups were structured. Having kenrich out there seems to have improved the lineups so something to consider going forward.
