It seems that only eco disengages the transmission so I use it when I get off the mountains or situation where you can see similar conditions.
That being said , I drove 1400 km(~870 miles) in ECO Pro, mostly highways at about 140 km/h and the “additional distance” I gained was about 6 kms(4 miles?).
The way back, I did the same in Comfort and there seemed to be no difference whatsoever.
Talking about G31 540i xDrive
It is a well-known fact that european men have bigger dicks, hence nobody is driving any of the V8 5.8L trucks or whatever.
Same goes for BMWs, to each their own
I just got myself a G31 540i 2022 and is the first automatic transmission I have ever driven.
Compared to my MT E60, the gears are really, really slow.
I thought that there is a problem whth the car so I brought it in for check at BMW. They told me it is normal…
It switches fast when gets going, but the kickdown is unexpectedly slow.
So: manual for me 🤷♂️
Idk, but my G31 540i barely does 35 mpg at 130 km/h in ECO pro 😂
I think I have noticed the same, but I thought I was going insane so decided not to share :D
