That sounds perfect man, I’m still quite nervous to hold him cuz he feels so fragile, but I’m sure I’ll get more used to it. Congrats to the new baby too!

It runs really well for me, I usually put settings on low so that battery lasts longer, but even on high it ran well if I remember correctly, I’ve had a couple of stutters, but I did on a powerful pc too

UPDATE: Just a little update for those interested, wife has gone into the operating room, and I’m sitting in the waiting room with my camera waiting for our baby boy to emerge.

We didn’t get much sleep last night as we were up all night laughing, but the adrenaline is crazy right now, hopefully will be seeing my wife and baby within the next couple of hours

It was a follow up to my previous post, some people were under the impression the my wife was not happy about me bringing my steam deck to the hospital.

Nah not the oled, just the plain old LCD. But it does have a shiny screen protector on it

I seemed to have annoyed a lot of people…
I can assure you I haven’t neglected my wife, we are sitting here in a private room, with not much else to do until the operation tomorrow, we we’re told to book in the day before.
Me and my wife both play games, it’s something that brings us together. I’m super buzzing to be able to say I’m going to be a father tomorrow, but until then, I don’t think it’s too bad to sneak in a few rounds of Vampire Survivors.
We have 2 “watchers” designated, me and my mother (who is so excited to become a grandmother, and is sitting behind me on the sofa playing games on her phone). I just did a Starbucks run, and now I’m playing a bit of Grim Dawn.

ahh nice! I recently just finished the main game, but i really do wanna play the DLC.
Yeah i think people are forgetting that a lot of the time is spent just hanging about and waiting, so its good to have a time waster.
