We’re on pace for 64-18. Are people really upset? What?

They’re clearly exhausted in back-to-backs. Last night they lost because of that exhaustion showing up at the line.
I think it’s a good idea to play what-if every now and then to avoid repeating obvious errors in the future. Had a team bit, who knows what the fallout would have been. I’m just grateful nobody bit and I’m glad Brad Stevens won’t ever contemplate an error like this could have been.
If we gave Chicago back their second-round pick, basically guaranteeing them the 31st overall pick if that is where they decide to go, our 2024 first-round pick, Pritchard, filler, and another second-round pick (maybe two), would we really be out-bid for Caruso?
Caruso’s offense is not great, but come playoffs we’d basically have 48 minutes of elite defense against any team’s top guard on the floor, as well as managing JT and JB’s time such that we have one of the two on the other team’s best wing on the floor for 48 minutes. It then would come down to whether KP/Horford can slow down the best big enough for us to get by (Jokic obviously being the biggest question mark). It’s an extremely exciting opportunity.
Embiid is absurdly overrated. Giannis definitely belongs in that position over Embiid. I’d rather have JT over Luka and Embiid, too. And think he’s better than both of them this season.
By the end of this season, JB and KP will be higher up the pyramid if he does another one (and maybe Holiday too). I also suspect The Buffalo might become top 50 if we continue to dominate and take the title.
It’s a good book, but not worth three figures. Stay on top of special items on the NBA Shop and similar places.
If we stay healthy, the great disclaimer that almost goes without saying, this may be the year we do to Miami what MJ did to Detroit on his first trip to a title: Sweep.
Adding KP has basically given JB the breathing room to thrive as 2A to KP’s 2B. Plus, now that he has his money and saw what happened with Smart, he seems to now know that this is JT’s team. We are lucky to have JB, but particularly lucky to have this more rational version of JB.
We’re gonna bring back Theis-Theis-Baby when his contract is bought out. We need to hope a solid guard also gets bought out and joins us. Maybe McConnell and Theis at the same time?
If we fail to win the title, I’m not against:
BOS In: Jaren Jackson, Jr., Marcus Smart
BOS Out: JB
