  • I do not have the time to do it right now, but it would be interesting to see the number of big plays on actual calls by Johnson vs audibles at the line by Hurts/broken plays where Hurts makes a play. Example in the Chiefs game there were a bunch of questionable calls before we got the big play to Smith down to the goalline, Sirianni straight up said this was an audible by Hurts at the line. We had a bunch of questionable playcalling in the Bills game then we got the big play on the TD throw to Zaccheaus which was on a broken play.

  • This is a stupid question we have multiple guys who were greatpivka that weren’t first rounders some in the Hall and one going to the hall after he retires such as;

    • Jason Kelce 6th round
    • Brian Dawkins 2nd round
    • Seth Joyner 8th round
    • Pete Pihos 5th round
    • Clyde Simmons 9th round
    • Tommy McDonald 3rd round

    And I would also put first rounders like the below above him since they were all HoF players and some of the best all time so even tho they are first picks their value well outweighs the value of the picks.

    • Chuck Bednark
    • Steve Van Buren
    • Reggie White

  • It is their overall grade but their pass blocking grades are not great, but they are not terrible either. If I just look at pass block Smith and Taylor are ranked 44th and 47th respectively which isn’t far off from their overall grade, but as you said overall grade takes into account other things which is also an aspect of the game and both their run block grades stink and are in the 40s. Their pass block grades are the 60s which is average. I have a premium subscription and no it isn’t. You can disagree with PFF’s grading system if you like though I think they do a good job with how they grade both lines. Their pass grades Smith and Taylor’s pass block grades are 66.1 and 65.3 respectively. Which are fine grades. Yes they have not given up many sacks 1 each, but they have both given up pressures with 23 pressures surrendered by Smith and 18 by Taylor. If I am looking at matchups this is definitely one that I think favors the Eagles. The problem though like I said is getting to Mahomes who is probably the best in the league at moving in the pocket and avoiding the sack.

Yes they have not given up many sacks 1 each, but they have both given up a lot of pressures with 23 pressures surrendered by Smith and 18 by Taylor. Their overall grades are actually lower when taken into their runblock grades it has them ranked 90th and 97th respectively and cause both have run block grades in the 40s.
