SharkSmiles1Bto Mazda@gearhead.town•Can you please help me choose the right CX5 for me?English1·2 years agoI bought a CPO 2016.5 in 2019 with 26k miles on it. Just hit 66k and it’s been great. Mine is a Grand Touring with leather, moonroof, navigation and blind spot monitoring. I totally recommend all these features.
SharkSmiles1Bto BMW@gearhead.town•Remember to check for a wheel lock key when you buy a BMWEnglish1·2 years agoWhen the tire center LOST the wheel lock key for ours, BMW ordered us one and had it waiting for us next day. While that’s not real convenient, it was a good solution. And the tire center paid for it, of course.
It looks like a chonky plastic toy….
SharkSmiles1Bto BMW@gearhead.town•Made this chart based on several conversations with car and non-car people, what do you think?English1·2 years agoOh yes! It will be a classic that is sought after someday.
SharkSmiles1Bto Mazda@gearhead.town•I have never regretted buying a Mazda until now.English1·2 years agoYes. It’s been a great car - that was 2006 - my dad has it now and loves it.
SharkSmiles1Bto Mazda@gearhead.town•I have never regretted buying a Mazda until now.English1·2 years agoI had a similar problem with a Honda Odyssey that was a lease that was expiring and they forced me to buy a new ex-L in order to get them to pay for the repair. ☹️

Edit: oh Newberry Park. I could tell it was Calif. Since I’m from Los Angeles but not NP. Now I know and if you find the owner, I’d like a white one… ❤️
I Absolutely recommend gen 2 Mazda3s. I have one I bought new in 2010. It’s a “ Sport Grand Touring” and it has been the most reliable car I’ve ever had. I was in an accident where someone ran a red light, and I saw him coming and was able to stop but not soon enough that he didn’t hit me - but soon enough that it didn’t get my daughter who was in the passenger seat at the time. He got the front right panel. It messed up the tire area and and that panel and I would say part of the radiator area, but we were not injured at all, and the car was able to be fixed and repainted, and completely put back together to the point where even today (this was several years ago) You can tell it was ever in an accident. It’s just a wonderful car. Mine still has under 100,000 miles on it but it’s almost there. I will never give it up. I totally recommend it.
SharkSmiles1Bto BMW@gearhead.town•saw this on instagram. edited one looks far betterEnglish1·2 years agoDid they get some special deals from some Weird manufacturer Who low-key hates BMW and everything they stand for and decided to make fun by making those great big air holes?
I’ll take the one on the upper right. 💞
Yes and piggybacking on this, BMW are always happy to let you test drive! One of my favorite things to do every year at CES is drive the BMWs!! They let you drive all kinds of M cars and 7 series’, etc. Such a blast! But it does hurt a little getting back into the 328i to go back home - but not too much!
