Building through the draft sucks but its absolutely the way. We don’t need to nor should we be trying to contend for play in until we have what feels like a legitimate core of players. Lets have a couple bad years but also realize we have one of the best prospective players ever. Pairing him with more young talent through the draft is going to lead to us being real contenders and not stuck in mediocrity purgatory because we sign some mid ass players to big contracts.

Jokic might just win this one by default. Its clear he should have won last year, I can see voters giving it to Jokic as long as nuggets have a decent season and he isn’t hurt.
