8-3 is funny as hell, G Gordon
The more data that comes out on Rid, the more we see he’s just cheeks. The sad thing is, we knew this year we should have taken a flier because 5th-7th round picks don’t generally work out anyways. Just take a QB and see how they do. You’re telling me Logan Woodside at 30 is more valuable than a 5th round decent college QB?
I read an article from the Bears absolutely FLAMING them for the Sweat trade. The author made the argument that Sweat is highly overrated as he’s having what I’m going to call a Vic Beasley year. Good numbers, but it’s a good amount of luck mixed with meh play. After reading it, I 100% understand why Terry didn’t go for him with more than the third rounder.
I get it. But I also get why we didn’t get him because of value. The Bears 2nd round pick is essentially going to be pick 33…a first rounder. If I’m the Redskins, I’m taking that all day long.
Howell, much like Rid and Matt Ryan before him, is a sack magnet.
I know this will be wildly unpopular, but this includes Grady. He’s been the guy everyone wants to be good, but he’s only been ok for a few years. He doesn’t impose his will, gets lost in the game sometimes, and just doesn’t close down games. He’s an above-average guy, but so many of our fans look at him as if he’s elite, and he’s just not.
Henny and MyCole Pruitt, no doubt.
Keith Smith is my new favorite player to hate. How does a FB stay on the team making all that dang money when he has a pass blocking grade of 12? He sucks.
Clawd have mercy - imagine if we got that every week this season…we’d be rocking.
Pitts isn’t going to ball out anywhere. He plays lazy, can’t block, and thinks of himself as a bonafide Travis Kelce-esque player. He’s the most overrated prospect in years.
