  • This is just a bad take if the goal is to say US Bank stadium doesn’t provide a definitive home field advantage. I’ve been to every stadium. It’s a top 5 advantage easily. There’s a reason the players ranked it 2nd best stadium behind arrowhead. It’s loud! Keep in mind that we were 8-2 last year at US Bank and overall since it opened, we are 42-23. That’s a 65% win percentage. Last I checked it was a top 5 win percentage at home out of all NFL teams.

  • I’ve been to every single game played at US Bank.

Most fans I’ve ever seen was chiefs. I’d say 25,000 chiefs fans.

Packers really depends. I’ve seen it 35-40% packers fans but also 15-20% Packer fans. Varies year to year.

    Cowboys usually have 25-30%.

    Steelers get 25-30%.

    Niners had 25% this year.

    Broncos had 20% in 2019.

No other teams have had even close to the 6 listed above.

That’s from literally witnessing the crowd breakdown in person. I’m very into NFL fandoms and pay close attention to who travels well.

Vikings fans travel really really good too. Every away game I’ve been to has at least 25-30% purple. I’m expecting 50% in Vegas in a couple weeks.

  • I’d try to take the light rail or some form of public transportation to the game unless you are staying close to the stadium. You won’t have issues ubering to the game for a good price but after the game, the prices are absurd. You will either have to bite the bullet or wait for quite awhile at a bar or something to let the prices go down.

Make sure you are in your seats at least 20 min before kick off. Really cool pregame presentation. Especially for Monday night games. I’d head into the stadium at least 35 min before kick to get through lines and find your seats.

Enter through the Legacy gates if you want to have the coolest entrance into the stadium (Vikings ship, pregame festivities, fanfare etc.). These are the large swiveling doors. Otherwise see which gate is closest to your seats and enter that one.

For before the game, I tailgate so I’ll be in the quarterback lot. There’s plenty of food and drinks to go around but I would definitely bring some of your own drinks just in case.

If you aren’t wanting the cold tailgate scene, plenty of bars near the stadium within a couple blocks but I’d get there at least 1.5 hours before the game to get a spot for a few drinks.

Lastly, I always say this, EMRACE the atmosphere. It’s an incredible venue to watch football and our fans are so passionate. Help us force some false starts and delay of games by getting as loud as possible.
